Indonesia is the most wildlife-rich country in the world contain ten percent of the world's known plant species, twelve percent of mammal species, seventeen percent of all known bird species, and ten percent of herpetofauna. Half of the world's fish species can be found in Indonesia's marine and freshwater systems.

YY Wildlife Art through painting aims to campaign for the importance of nature conservation in order to support sustainable development in Indonesia. Painting art is made with a variety of tools and materials, not limited to colored pencils, oil pastels, watercolors, gouache, acrylic, and oil colors. Media can also be a variety of materials such as paper and canvas.
