MY STORY As an artist, thyroid eye disease first felt like an impossible blow. I need to tell you that it wasn’t—although it took a while to figure that part out. In truth, TED proved to be not only an unexpected beginning but a strange kind of blessing that led me to make long-overdue changes. And it continues to teach that gratitude is endless.
