I am Al McDonald, WV1Q a Retired MD Law Enforcement Officer, former Volunteer Fire Fighter Medic, Marine Corps Combat Veteran ( Kilo / India 3/1 & 1st Marines CRRC/SOC), and Navy Reserve Seabee Veteran (NMCB 23). I am a member of ARRL, INDEXA, TALARC (The American Legion Amateur Radio Club) /American Legion Post #1992, DAV(Disabled American Veterans) Post#59, Skywarn, ARES, P.O.T.A.(Parks On the Air), 100watts and A Wire#4094, FT8DMC#11781 and M.A.R.C.(Motorcycle Amateur Radio Club). My Hobbies are Amateur Radio, Martial Arts, Audiophile, Sound Quality Competitions(IASCA, USACi, and S.L.A.P.), Competition / Long Range Shooting, Motorcycling (Member of AMA, GWRRA, and HOG), Bicycling (MTB, Road, and Bikepacking) and Percussions (Drums).
