Pottersfield is an EDM/Future bass artist and songwriter based in Nashville, TN. Originally from Fresno, California, Amy Benedict sacrificed everything to make her way to Nashville to become Pottersfield.
Amy has been collaborating with producer Ian Osborne to create a rich future bass/electropop sound inspired by artists like The Chainsmokers, Illenium, and Kygo. However, Amy is a songwriter at heart and is deeply inspired by the lyrics from artists like Sia, and Julia Michaels. Combining the two elements brings a personal storytelling depth to future bass that makes Pottersfield unique.
“Empty Bottles” placed as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. Inspired by the loss of a friend, “Empty Bottles” was written to address the reality of addiction and assist in healing for anyone affected by its devastation. Gripping lyrical storytelling, captivating melodic crescendos, and punctuating instrumentation makes “Empty Bottles” an emotional and impactful delivery.
