I am LJ, a middle aged, happily dysfunctional woman who has made it to midlife.

I have overcome growing up in what was a wildly strange childhood, two divorces, two miscarriages, raising challenging kids, the death of my parents, and all of the usual life upheavals that happen to everyone.

During this journey, over time, I have discovered my real self, my love for life, what is important to me, and how to cope with a heck of a lot of stuff!
I am hoping to help someone just a little bit and laugh a little bit. This will be a sounding board for you, a safe place to talk about touchy subjects, and to let you know that YOU ARE NOT WEIRD. Because everyone is weird.

I want to reassure you that you are not alone. You can do this. You can overcome. You can embrace life.
