About Carole Pivarnik

I am a Virginia artist working mainly in watercolor and gouache. Sometimes, I introduce various inks, pastels, and drawing mediums into my work. I used to work very realistically but lately am having fun with what I guess could be called abstract impressionism. I’m dubious about labels though...I just go where the paint takes me and that isn’t always easily definable.

My videos show my painting process, share tips and techniques, or demo skills-building exercises. I hope you find something here to inform or inspire your own creative journey. Some of the videos reference a link to a Patreon page; I’ve stepped away from that platform since they were published.
