The 10,000 Hours Experiment in DARTS

I have always wanted to be a pro sportsman but was never good enough at anything particular. I started playing darts a for around a month a few years ago and I enjoyed it but had to give it up soon after starting due to work commitments and starting a family.

I was reading some sports science books and a couple suggested that if you practice
10,000 if something you would become an expert.

After further reading I discovered this rule was not really a rule but had never been disproved in a scientific way; In 2020 I picked up my darts again and so I created the 10,000 hours experiment. Which is a personal study from me starting as a poor standard pub player to try and become a true darts expert ranked top 10 in the world in 10,000 hours.

I started with a 40/45 3 dart average in Jan 2020 and have been documenting my journey so far on Instagram but decided to set up a Youtube channel to show my journey too!
