About Dave Sisson

I've written a number of long histories of Australian alpine and subalpine regions, although my interests extend to many other fields. Some of my work is at australianmountains.com

I've also written a few video scripts and I'm learning how to make short films. When I've mastered the basics, I hope to make videos in three areas:
- Histories of individual mountains.
- Melbourne explained. A series of short videos covering everything to do with Melbourne infrastructure, culture, transport, architecture, etc.
- Transport explained. YouTube videos covering lesser known transport such as urban gondolas, fast catamaran ferries and perhaps more common modes of transport
