A Video "Ship's Log" of my trip in June 2016 taken aboard my 20' Sylvan Pontoon boat, "River Breeze Too" going "Downriver" along the Ocklawaha River from where the boat is currently kept at the Mt. Dora Boating Center in Mt. Dora, Florida on Lake Dora. I will eventually take the boat to a marina on the St. Johns River in Sanford. Instead of just trailering the boat--I decided to make an adventure of it---by running the boat from one point to the other on the water instead of merely towing it over. I will document to the best degree possible some of the major sites and features of the Lakes that make up the Harris Chain of Lakes---which are actually part of the river. I will go through two locks along the way, make a side trip to Silver Springs going up the Silver River--a tributary of the Ocklawaha, then on up to the St. Johns River which is the big river of the system taking that to the sea in Jacksonville then back to Sanford. At this date, departure is around June 1st, 2016. .
