I spent the entirety of the 2020 pandemic binge-watching skin care videos by DrV, Dr Alexis, Dr Dray, LABeautyologist, James Welsh, and Hyram. Saddened there's so little available for us with pigment-prone skin, I was inspired to start a blog as a reference specifically for skin care for skin of colour..

Consider me the John Snow of the skin care world
1. I am not a doctor.
2. Not a dermatologist.

I have a BSc in Animal Biology and a minor in Nutraceutical Sciences.. Most of which meant I was learning to formulate pig feed (for pigs I never intended to own...) But I'm a bit of a dork, like to geek out skin care & can read/understand scientific medical journals. Annd I also have some pretty sensitive melanocytes (making me a decent baseline guinea pig)..
