This channel explores the relationship between yoga and mythology.

As a yoga teacher, I seek to share with my students what I find to be most beautiful and inspiring in the mythological traditions from which yoga emerged, and to link these traditions to those I come from, both culturally and religiously.

As a spiritual refugee coming out of an evangelical missionary upbringing, it is my intention to share what has been helpful for me in terms of moving beyond a very limited (patriarchal) 'god concept', through my exploration of the (goddess-filled) Hindu tradition of South Asia.
