What are qualifications required for an IELTS examiner ?A qualified IELTS examiner must hold at least a bachelor degree or a Master’s degree. A certificate of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) is also required. A successful candidate must also be trained on how to access speaking and writing tests before his accreditation. According to the application form, both qualified native and non-native speakers are eligible for the position.
