This is a project that I started while waiting for some loose ends on the Tales of Zale pilot. I wanted to try making an animation to a song and found that this one fitted quite well for the style that I was going for. The flash was mostly meant to test a few animation techniques as well as effects and possibilities in Adobe Flash.
What started out as the vague idea of a boy waking up in a world of dreams quickly evolved into much more, and though I hadn't made any storyboard, I suddenly had both a beginning, a middle and an ending stuck inside my head. I ended up working very hard on this flash and felt like I had to finish it, but because of my inexperience and relatively slow drawing speed it took a lot longer than I had first anticipated, and I almost gave up a few times. Here it is though, all done. Now I only hope that everyone can look through its faults and be able to enjoy it!
