Hello everyone! Click the green flag.

I've never done a project relating to Spanish (besides the few projects I've translated to Spanish). I found a catchy song of the Spanish alphabet on YouTube and decided to animate it on Scratch!

The original video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7R-QkOXgcU

In the second repetition of the song, the letters inside the slashes on the right are the IPA pronunciations of the letter on the left. However, in the case of B, V, Y, and Z, the second IPA pronunciation shown is not used in all Spanish-speaking countries.

Here is a helpful guide to IPA for Spanish:

All animated by me, @P-Code, using Scratch.

Fun Facts:
~ B is sometimes called "B grande", "B alta", or "B larga" to distinguish it from V ("B chica" or "B corta"). Both are pronounced /b/ (like an English B), but V is a slight touch of the lips rather than the steadier one for B.
~ X actually has four pronunciations, so I only added the two most common pronunciations in the animation itself. The four pronunciations of the Spanish X in IPA are: /ks/, /s/, /x/, and /ʃ/.
~ The /x/ pronunciation of the Spanish X is only used for Mexican places (including the name México itself, and Texas, which used to be a part of Mexico). The /ʃ/ pronunciation of the letter is only used for words of Catalan, Basque, or indigenous American origin.
~ K and W are the least common letters in Spanish. They are only used in words and names coming from foreign languages.
