Sam's New Biography

I actually drew this back in November. xD Never submitted it to Scratch though. Dunno exactly why I didn't. I guess it's because I know this is going to get like, zero attention. xD As few views and comments as I get on DA, I get even less on here. It didn't used to be that way. u_u;; I really miss the old days. OH WELL. It's not really important, so whatever. xD

So, rambling aside, this is my old character Sam. Like with Sanctius, it's been around a year that I've had her, and she's changed drastically. xDD I'm glad I finally got around to draw a better picture.
I've always wanted to draw Sam with her notorious Garchomp, Nika. I've never really been able to draw Garchomp in a way that I liked, so I went and researched what I wanted to make it. I decided on an Allosaurus type build, combined with attributes of a Tiger shark. (The reason I used a dinosaur rather than a dragon is because I think of dinosaurs whenever I see bipedal reptiles. xD Dragons are more of quadrupeds to me. Not to mention that Garchomp seems more like a dinosaur than a dragon to me.)

If you're wondering what that pink mass is on Nika's chest, it's her Life Orb. The item used to be attached to a necklace, but Nika has used it so much that the item is now embedded in her chest. (Life Orb damages the user greatly whenever an attacking move is used.) That's also why there's lots of scarring in that area.

(By the way, this Sam isn't me. xD I mean, she kind of is, but not really. It's weird. She looks somewhat like me, and has some of my personality, but she's wayyyyy more pessimistic, and has an awful life. xD I can't really explain how I see her.)
