@shankdrummer06 you don't need balance. Most of the fills only need a hi and low tom sound so the mid tom is just taking up space

@tbdrummer2 I know, I used to until I switched to 1 up 2 down. I'm just saying it gives you so many more options for fills including the 3rd tom. So why not go 1 up 2 down?

why would you take out the 2nd tom? that 1st tom is has a high tuning and that 3rd has a really low tuning. The 2nd one balances them out.
