I know why you are here for. You want to know if this movie is worth your time and I would say yes, it is. Even if you have no clue about baseball.

just saw this movie last night. I don't know anything about baseball but i loved this movie. they basically used math/science/computers to recruit players on a budget - an experiment that worked phenomenally. i loved the ending. this Billy Beane guy is fantastic!

The biggest mistake Oakland made was revealing how they did it before they could take full advantage. Then everyone was doing it and the advantage was gone.

Such a great movie. Terrific acting, touching and great story, I'm not an A's fan but after I watched this movie, if my team isn't in the playoffs, I root for the A's just because I want billy Beane to finally win haha
  • Moneyball truly is a masterpiece! Beautiful performances all around with fantastic dialogue from Aaron Sorkin. This is a wonderful depiction of someone who isn't getting the results they are looking for at first, but also knows that they need a new strategy. After multiple attempts for assistance without any luck Billy Bean meets Peter Brand who finally reveals the approach Billy has been searching for and the rest of the story plays out beautifully.

  • I thought this film was perfectly edited...they should show it in film school.

I'm a girl, and not a sporty one, and this is one of my all time favorite, most rewatchable movies. An excellent example of masculinity, and ultimately a story about finding value in people when no one else sees it.

Even if you're not a baseball film, you need to watch this film. It's phenomenal. You'll finish the movie having a great respect for the Oakland A's organization. I certainly did.

I am so proud of Jonah Hill. The nerd from Superbad is finally a nerd with an Academy Award nomination. We need Michael Cera and McLovin do the same now.
