  • Not sure why US politicians can’t put two sentences together like this one
  • @benkata
I actually don't think there was a live translator here. Amanpour can speak French but delivered in English, Le Pen can speak English but delivered in French.

Why is the journalist acting like a prosecutor? How is this acceptable?
  • She's a very smooth talker. Everything she is saying is the opposite of what she has said before.

Amanpour has a right to ask tough questions, and Le Pen (as we saw) has a right to dispute Amanpour's labels and categorization of Le Pen's party. This was interesting.

    The interviewer's arrogance is astonishing.
  • "People in your party are being racist" "Those are black sheeps" I can't

'You're kidding me, right?' is not a "challenge" worth headlining.

The voters are the ones to decide the government, not the political parties.

People nowadays want their pet politicians to be agressive and relentless, but if a professional journalist ask tough questions they feel butthurt.
  • In Spain they are calling it “extreme” “ultra” right ….nuts!
  • @deadname...
I don't think I've ever seen a cnn headline that just says "Right", it's all ways far-right.
  • So she said that the bad apples will go to the party committee for possible expulsion, but it will be after the elections (but it probably won't happen), if it was before, his party would have lost almost 100 seats. Who is she kidding?
  • @wrsmith711
she tried to do a hatchet job on Le Pen and she failed.
  • Wow. My first time “hearing her speak,” and I like her. I appreciated her answers, her tough stance against Russia, and her refusal to comment or meddle in the U.S.’s political affairs. Great response.

Don't like the self righteous, smug Amanpour but was curious to hear from Le Pen.
