The Lancia didn't have 500 examples for homologation. They had some 200+. When the sanctioning inspector arrived, they delayed meeting with him for a bit, then looked over the cars at the factory, by then, it was well past lunch, so Lancia took him to eat while employees moved those cars to another lot that the inspector was then taken to after lunch to "see the rest of the cars."

USA: "we have stricter emissions" laughs in big trucks
  • One vehicle that we don’t get here in the USA and I don’t understand is the Toyota Tacoma with a diesel motor. It is insanely reliable and high mpg. They sell them almost everywhere else but here in the US.
  • "....why is this Maxima so fast??" LOL YES, I totally had that reaction!

A car I owned in the 90’s and know it would have been popular with hot hatch enthusiasts was the Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI. It also came with a 1.6 engine, but the 1.9 was the one to have. A truly beautiful car with great performance and handling and a lovely looking interior with the half leather seats. It was a death trap though that would crumble in an accident and most including my own were eventually written off.

Watched this high and the HO-O conversation really got me
  • I've seen a century here in germany, although it's not as imposing as the Phantom irl The fact it's so incredibly rare makes it like a myth. My heard nearly exploded when I saw it

Dude, the M5 E61 had a seven-speed automated gearbox. BMW sold it in Europe only with that automated transmission while the U.S. customers had an option for a six-speed manual. The seven-speed automated was a seven-speed mechanical gearbox with a clutch operated by an electrohydraulic system.
