I don't cry, but when Jeff hugged Abed that second time... damn.

My wife and I walked down the aisle to this song. Thanks, Lord Huron. Thanks, Community.

Listening to this song while driving through Yellowstone National Park at sunset is literally life changing y’all.
  • "I love that I got to be with you guys. You saved my life, and changed it forever."
  • Lord Huron aren't a band .. they are a road trip across the states of our minds :-)

I first heard this song on Community. Community is my comfort show. I've watched or hundreds of times by now to the point where I consider the study group to be my friends which I guess is sort of lame but I find great happiness in retreating to them. This song never fails to make me cry. It's so bittersweet and beautiful. Anyway - hope all my other Community nerds out there are doing okay. #andamovie
  • I listen to this song whenever I go through a major, major life change. Always a bittersweet moment, but always makes me cry. Thank you, Lord Huron.

These types of songs make me want to roll down my windows and drive on a really long road
  • A lot of people got here from Community (I won’t lie, I did too) but man this song. Once I got to learn the entire thing, it hit me in a real tender place. I just turned 36 so I’m not old really, but I always think I’ve lost much of that ambition, that fire that I had when I was younger to experience everything, you know? You get older and settle down, and you mean it when you say you’re happy to be where you are if you’re lucky. But today I listened to this song and realized I’m just as ambitious now as I ever was, I just have many more people to answer to before I disappear anywhere. And that makes you spin your life into haiku and you reach for the stars that you can reach within the boundaries you set for yourself. I don’t miss never being satisfied to be where I was, but I do remember that young man fondly, and I hope he wouldn’t be too disappointed by the older man he grew up to be.

This song makes me want to walk on a mountain trail at night, with the night sky above my head.

"What good is livin the life you've been given if all you do is stand in one place?" Amen to that.
  • @Siege924
They weren't a study group. They were a community.

lord huron are the songs i hear in my head when i imagine cutting all my losses and embarking on a trip (or is adventure a better word) where i let myself just live and travel where i want, see what i want to see, and meet people from every corner of the globe regardless of what it may take and the trials it will cost

One of those rare songs you only share with certain people who deserve it.

  • "Out there's a land that time don't command, wanna be the first to arrive" Man thats such beautiful songwriting.
