Fast and Furious then: We’ll see who’s the fastest 😠😈 Fast and Furious now: Come on guys, we gotta help the Avengers stop Thanos
  • Y'all focused on the cars 👀 , I'm here thinking on how their flip phones have HD display

The fact that the Mustang build is a definition of Sean's character on this part of the movie. The body and chassis of the Mustang itself is American itself which defines Sean's looks, the inner parts of the car however like the engine(RB26DETT), inner parts of the car, etc. are Japanese which means Sean's way of driving and his culture itself has now been transformed into the Japanese racing/drift world.

Hands down this is one of the best scenes from the franchise. Very well made. No cheesy fumes going through the exhaust system, just rpms going up and feeling you’re there. Idc what anyone says I loved this movie.

You have to love the fact as the 350Z slowly begins to disintegrate, the Mustang is still largely intact during the race. A reflection of both driver's psyche, in a sense.

Remember when Fast and Furious is about racing?

The deeper you dig this movie, the more you get interesting details. Also this final race somehow give me some nfs carbon vibes, the intro, the arrival of both drivers, the background music. This is definitely the best movie of the franchise.

Sean went from the drift king to being some kooky guy strapping jet engines to cars.
  • DK went from street racing in a 350z to saving people’s lives at Chicago Med.

Sean using his Mustang with the Silvia engine was a nice touch to the car Car/ Body: American Engine/ Heart: Japan So it seems he really had the mix region including the car he use for the final canyon drift race
  • Fast and furious then: Racing and drfiting Fast and furious now: Bald dudes fighting Edit: I have come back after 9 months and I don't think you should be liking this unfunny comment anymore lmao
  • The Mustang would technically be considered the import in this, cause it was imported from America to Japan.

4:09 was a clean save. Crazy that this clip right here has more racing than the recent fast and furious’s💀

Meanwhile on the other side of the mountain there's an AE86 racing an RX7 And even further down there's a BMW M3 GTR trying to run from a Corvette Z06

“Remember when Fast & Furious was about racing?” This was the only one that was about racing. F&F 1 was about a cop infiltrating a gang that pulled heists on big rigs. 2F2F was about taking down a Miami drug lord. F&F4 was a revenge flick. F5 was a heist movie. F6 was about stopping a heist from happening. F7 and F8 was some international espionage shit. Only one of these movies were about racing.

4:23 Something I like about this race is that they didn't make Sean look like the "good guy who always follows the rules and still win" because there he showed Takeshi that in order to win he could be as dirty as him
  • @rensaudade
Just realized. Sean used the engine from his "first" car in tokyo from han, when he was very bad at drifting, now he's using that engine again now with all the drift knowledge from Han to win this race.
