Jeeesus, that councilwoman is simply incredible... "being asked to wear a mask makes me feel like Rosa Parks"? She's hitting levels of whiteness I didn't even know were possible to achieve, and I'm a ginger girl who glows in the dark and is physically incapable of getting a suntan.

If anyone approached me and said "Would you please take off your mask? science shows you shouldn't be wearing it, your mask is making me uncomfortable" I'd hand them a potted plant to carry around to replace the air they're wasting

I truly enjoy listening to him try to make his wife laugh, and her laughter when he succeeds. Couple goals.

Can we NOT bring the audience back! This setting is soooooo much better. Feels so intimate and Colbert is so relaxed. I am OK with just his staff and wife laughing.

When I taught about the bubonic plague I remember students being shocked and unable to understand how many strange, awful, and illogical things people did out of fear of the plague. They saw the people as ignorant and backwards. Well people in the future are going to think even worse of us because we actually are told the correct science... but we still have people acting just as nuts.

I can't imagine being so delicate that I'm harmed by a little paper mask. If someone is truly in such a fragile state they should seriously consider that they have reached the point in life for a managed care facility.
