  • I think that you having less films to talk about while this video is longer says more about last year's movies than anything
  • I am very happy to know that we both share the same top three: 1) The Boy and the Heron 2) Nimona 3) Across the Spider-Verse Really hoping for a Best Animated Feature nominations for them.
  • @MidnightNautil1
Great ranking vid! I love hearing your thoughts on these films. Also NIMONA SWEEP
  • @AvatarAidan
Overtime I started to not like the songs overtime, except Welcome to Rosas that song actually works as an introduction to the world. Also the Kung fu Panda 4 repeat clip was literally me when I saw the trailer. The no fun argument part hit me cause I was hit with that hard when I said I wasn't big on the Mario movie. Great Video, will check out some of these movies.

Imo in ninja turtles the references didn't get on my nerves that much. While i definitely understand why they can, they went by quick and the kids energy added a lot to it. Also since i recently graduated from high school it reminded me of how my friends or other students(especially freshmen would talk to each other). Great ranking by the way glad to see some nimona love.

Great ranking: I like it when you focus on giving complete opinions, rather than just naming positions. On the suggestions, 2023 didn't have that many films, but I can try two: - Under The Boardwalk: impossible that you haven't heard of it, but you should see it. It's nothing exceptional, but it has a lot of heart. - Inspector Sun: a good detective film straight from Spain. Again, not a masterpiece (I think the best of the best are already on the list), but enjoyable. Oh, and I have to thank you for listing Monsters University as an example of a good sequel: I feel it's getting its due in recent years

For anyone who doesn't have netflix, Nimona is, in it's entirety, on the netflix YouTube channel

Watched this video from beginning to end and I gotta say You really outdid yourself YINSED I think your video’s long run time is justified and you did keep me engaged. Even though I’ve only seen about half of these films so far. Each of your takes on these movies, I can either agree with; Or understand where they are coming from. I enjoy following your channel. And I look forward for what you have to other in the future.
  • @BusterCorp
Do the Bowser video and I'll make A Samurai video
  • So glad Nimona got the top spot. I wish more people realized how significant it is.
  • You know the director of Migration also directed 2 French animated films called Ernest & Celestine and The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales which you should talk about on your channel soon.
  • @Aussieroth7
My list is rather similar, though my no.1 is the Boy and the Herron. Big shock I know but it's too good.

I wanna preface this by saying that I loved Nimona, and there were defo moments that made me tear up and cry. But my only upset about the film was the ending. It felt incredibly rushed and unsatisfying. I remember saying "is that it?" in the last few scenes. That for me destroyed how I felt about Nimona. It was especially crushing because I was beginning to feel for these characters and believe their relationships and banger. And its worse because this wonderful, and pure writing hasn't been seen in a while (especially with the crap Disney and co decide to release). It felt like they had built it up to nothing. Just to end with a short and imo, lazy conclusion. I js wished there was more to it yk?

I mean considering the Wimpy Kid movies only get better, maybe the 4th one will be good.
