Don't Let It Touch The Ground

Its sad that we no longer have that kind of respect for not only our flag, but what it symbolizes- and all those who havefought and died so that we can continue to live beneath it.

That's one thing that's upsetting these days, we let it touch the ground.

Excellent song. Very touching. My job in the Army was to escort the bodies of the fallen and participate in military funerals. We folded the flag that was draped over the casket ... and never let it touch the ground. Love the song.

When I think of America, I don’t think of slavery, segregation, incarceration, war or any other label people give it. I think of the men who fought and died for the best of this country and the freedoms it offers all for the hope that generations after them would not only take up the flag but mend the flaws they couldn’t. Nowadays, it feels like we’ve failed them with how many people want to tear down the flag and undo everything they fought for. Dwelling on the flaws instead of defending the good works of their ancestors. I pray that God would heal the hearts of America and allow us to come together again.

Outstanding! There arent very many songs that grab me from the start, but this one sure did. Good sound, music and vocals. And the lyrics were awesome too. I wish more people heard this song. When respect for important things go by the wayside, so does the people and country.
