When you were talking about how PIbby isn't much of a help during Suffering Siblings, here's something I've concluded with. According to the Pibby Apocalypse Mod Creators, they say that video game characters can't get corrupted. Only TV shows (especially CN) will end up like all the others. So if you think of it, Pibby is trying to make sure that she doesn't get touched by Finn in any way so she's not the next victim. Since BF is from FNF, he can't get corrupted, he can only just die. So he's being the one who's fighting Finn and Jake so that way he doesn't lose Pibby and fight her too. Plus, BF is mainly the brave kid so it makes sense that he's the one fighting for his life since Pibby is just a preschool show. If you're lazy and don't wanna read that, here's a summary: the glitch can only corrupt TV shows and BF is a video game character and fights everyone since Pibby is a show and is a preschooler and doesn't want her to be taken too.
