It's very popular to criticize the Catholic church. I just converted last year, and I have heard TONS of stuff in my life. Oh well, everyone has an opinion. I believe the Catholic Church is the one true church. Period.

"If you get your theology from a comedian, don't be surprised if your theology is a joke." That has to be the best line I've heard in a long time!
  • Joe Rogan clearly needs prayers. Let us pray for him and all of those who have such an intense anger toward the Church.

I’ve been to Protestant services where the pastor always brings up something to criticize the Catholic Church but NEVER have I ever been to a mass where other denominations are criticized. I understand that the people of the Catholic Church have their faults but majority of the criticism comes from ignorance and misunderstanding of Catholicism.

I’m tired of hearing an opinion about my faith by someone who knows everything about Catholicism because they went to catholic school in first grade. SMH

My parents raised me Catholic. My wife completed her rcia and was welcomed to the Catholic family 10 years ago. We are happily married...9 years and going...we have 4 beautiful boys...Thank you Lord for our family blessings 🙌

So many seem to hate the Catholic Church but that’s because it’s real, and the only Church founded by Christ himself.Jesus said the world would hate us. We must carry our cross

Every time you hear someone say I used to be Catholic and this is what is wrong with them …. You realize that they were not properly catechized and had no idea what it is about

I'm a Catholic school teacher. I love it! We love our students and we have the opportunity to share our faith. Children get lost in the mix in public school. We care and strive for the best interest of the child. God knows the children nowadays, need it more than ever! When the students graduate from 8th grade they are honor students in high school. We have high expectations in the classroom at every grade. Kids are kids and they are going to get in trouble but they learn from it. Most of the parents I have talked to over the years send them to Catholic school because they know we [teachers] will hold the kids accountable. Thank you for all you do!!

I was caned by a nun music teacher for getting piano notes wrong, caned by my maths teacher in grade 5 for getting sums wrong (Mrs Geisler - will never forget her name, the old cow). Me and my sister were humiliated by a nun in front of the whole school assembly for not having a mantilla (head covering) to wear in church. We were only 9 and 6yo. I was also regularly beaten by my mother. That was the way of the world back in the 60's, not saying it was right and it certainly broke your spirit but that's the way it was. Fast forward to Catholic schools today (my 5yo grandson goes to one) and they are positive, loving and enriching environments. I obviously learnt something though because I am blessed and very proud to be a practising Catholic today. I wish people who know nothing about Catholicism would stop running it down. Will pray for Joe Rogan.

I was raised by a very faithful Irish grandmother. She also taught me that we have the Bible, catechism, & doctrine that never changes. But, she also taught me that men are mere men & not all represent the best of the church. When she died, I was 12. I was left to grow up in a convent school until 12th grade. I did pay attention to who worked on being holy & those that barely slid by. Back in the 60s there were still some few nuns that were pushed by family, because of poverty etc, to become a nun - they were generally the worst to deal with. I had nightmares until adulthood because of this 1, but it never changed my faith. I also learned that our learning of theology doesn’t end when we graduate school. We are responsible to continue learning with an adult mind. I am now 72 & my faith has been the only solid rock in my life. I have even experienced many miracles.

  • The Catholic Church is perfect.....it's the people in the Church that aren't perfect.
  • I'm in RCIA and just did my first Communion on Easter Virgil and soon with by Confirmed with the Holy Spirit. I love being Catholic and as my Deacon said we are defenders of the faith. This I will do. God bless everyone love the show

The faith did not molest anyone. Some creepy dude who hid behind the truth of Christ did. I don’t get it. One plus one is two.
