So I can go climbing as long as I don't weight 2837 kg? God... Maybe I should think on losing some weight this summer...

I was about to start my hydraulic press when the warning prvented me from doing it at home. Phew

"Warning, do not repeat at home" -sad look at my 100 tons hydraulic press in my garage 🥺

The fact that humans can make a machine this powerful is incredible.

No ads, no sponsors, no merch, no taking lol

every single one of these ropes impressed me. but the spider web is like a dream come true. i didn't know they made those. it not only lives up to its fame, but looks hauntingly beautiful. i couldn't bring myself to actually use that. i'd hang it for display.

That’s why spider man’s webs could stop a train
  • Yes but the steel rope was tested as a single line, whereas all the other ropes were tested as double lines- halving the tensile stress compared to steel at the same load.

Never knew they make rope from spider silk!! Where do you find it? How much is it? How many spiders does it take? Mind boggling! 😀👍
  • @Diekgraaf
In such tests, you should use an eight knot because it puts the least strain on the structure of the rope under train.

at every rope i’m like : “wow, i didn’t think it would last that much, I’m surprised !” but know nothing about ropes
  • @Carvsoares
2:20 The steel was tested in a single rope, the other materials the load was distributed in two ropes. For comparison, it should double the value of the metal.

As soon as the climbing rope broke, I got an ad and I thought it was the funniest thing.

The spider: bro, I didn't mess with someone, right? Why do you treat me like that?💀😭
  • @SalaComMander
I was thinking "Wow, that Kevlar rope must be expensive" and then bro busted out the spider silk rope!

Thanks for going from weakest to strongest. Really entertaining!
