I watched Matt’s recovery of your side by side first, and saw your comment on there, so I came here to see how the side by side got in the canyon. Now I know.

This is one of the best ever videos relating to Matt's Off Road Recovery. We always wonder how in the hell did this happen and here we have the full story. It was nice to have this to go along with Matt's Recovery plus it was a very well done video on your part.

Here from the MORR video as well. Nicely done video, good luck with your channel!
  • @MarkM-ke6cn
Here from MORR. Wanted to see the crash. Video didn't disappoint. Well done! Glad everyone is okay!
  • @damirkvajo
Good job recovering with the equipment available. I also like your intro animation.
  • @Ragnarok-987
Glad no one was hurt and you guys were able to get the truck and trailer recovered before things got worse. Definitely was cool to see the client perspective from a Matt recovery video.

Came from watching MORR, glad you managed to get the truck and trailer recovered. Good job nobody was in the side by side.

That must've been a terrifying and helpless feeling for the person unloading the excavator, as the entire rig began sliding off the edge and they were along for the ride. This was one of those situations that was unforeseeable but a lesson learned would be to always chock the trailer tires when loading/unloading equipment. Possibly even add some stabilizer jacks to the rear of the trailer. Great video footage, and I'm very glad no one was hurt!!
  • Another viewer here from your comment on Matt's video. Great job on the self recovery. Just a quick thought for you. If you are unloading something off of a trailer that is going to pick up the rear tires of the tow vehicle, and the tow vehicle is 4 wheel drive, engage the 4 wheel drive in low range first. That will help hold the tow vehicle in place if the back tires come up. Like anything else, it does not always help, but it is a little extra insurance and may be enough to avoid a major problem. Just my 2 cents.

I think you did a fine job! You had a well thought out plan and executed it as well as it could be done without specialized equipment.
  • @melissat6850
One rock saved that truck😅. I’m impressed you got the truck and trailer out of there safely
  • @tedfisk1211
Certainly the law of unintended consequences came into play here. Glad you are all safe. That side by side can be replaced.
  • @randyengle7691
Great farmer recovery! Nothing got broke (more) and nobody hurt and truck and trailer ended up on the road. Nice!
  • @ewood88
Wow. That could have been REAL bad! Glad it worked out OK for y'all
  • Comment for the algorithm, came from Matt's, subbed and ready to see what else you get upto! Hopefully some more successful and less expensive endeavours!
