What a strange band. Drummer looks like your uncle, chain smoking on drums, lead singer standing with his hands in his pockets, great bassist and an escaped lunatic who'se somehow made it on stage pulling mad faces and pointing out other loonies in the crowd. What a show and what a tune, best thing I've seen all year, new to me. Its never too late to discover quality.

What a great cover and Robin, what a voice! Forever one of fav tune from CP.
  • Oh my god, they were just babies. (I'm so old, every time I see old videos, I'm shocked at how young & gorgeous everyone looked)
  • Oh my gosh, when Robin walk in and Rick tips his hat to him, it’s the best😂😂😂😂

In a word, Budokan is "magical." The production and engineering are quite possibly the best live sound that was recorded in the late 70s

What a tone on that 12-string bass! I own one of those because of Tom Petersson.

Robin Zander has been one of my rock n roll heroes for over 40 years and counting for a reason. <3 Damn, that man has pipes!

I love Robins Voice emmensly ♥️🤗🤗🤗This Song simply Rocks
  • Cheap Trick are great and what makes them unique is that they DON’T look like every other band. They each wanted to be themselves and it worked great because that’s makes you shine-being yourself and letting your band mates to do the same! They are the most original band in history. Robin Zander wearing his white suits and singing like a guy three times his size. Gorgeous. Tom Petersson maker of the first 12 String Bass and plays with such energy and brilliance. Also Gorgeous always smiling and having fun! That’s what it’s about. Rick Niellson great underrated guitarist with his two, three and five neck guitar, high energy, having fun! Bun E. Carlos (Carlson) from South America. Great layed back drummer doing his thing, and I’m glad he does. They’re unique and terrific together and seeing them live and having Robin singing to your 14 yr. old self (and 18 yr. old sister) 🎵“Would you like to go to heaven tonight? 🎶” was sweet. First concert and they still have me running around the house singing and acting a fool. Thank God. Will always be a huge fan of these amazing musicians and they uniqueness, craziness and talent ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🎤🎸💋🎼🎙🥁🎵🎶🥰
