He’s not sad, he’s mad because there wasn’t any action and gore in the episode and I kinda agree with him

It will be quite different if we do see Jax being sad instead of the sarcastic and selfish character he’s known for

yeah, i think that jax will be depressed- and since gooseworx said something about a character we haven’t met yet abstracting, i feel like it might be one of the new characters or someone that we actually have no idea of

I think that Jax’s being like selfish and rude is him coping and trying to hide the fact that he’s suffering like all the other characters or maybe suffering more!

Guys, Jax IS depressed. Notice how he reacted when Ragatha talked about the funeral, PLUS, he didn't even attend it! There's drama and I'm here for it!!

I feel like Jax bullying and picking on others may be a coping mechanism. Think about it, you get transported into a whole new world with no escape at all and living through it and playing all its games like you’re a Guinea pig in this world. And losing your mind leads to death(or in this case, abstraction), you would need to find a way to cope through this new world, right?. I think Jax picks on the others to cope with everything(and possibly to entertain himself) and in the scene where he’s on the ground looking sad, we find out about the depression he suffers through just from living in this world. But tbh I don’t think Jax will go through much character development, I think he’s gonna stay the a-hole we all know and sort of love.

I’ve always seen Jax as being a jerk as a way of coping with his situation. He would act like a jerk to others for the sake of not getting close to them, so if one of the party members abstracts, he won’t care about it and have a mental breakdown over it. He only wants to worry about himself in most cases

My theory is that Pomni somehow got separated from the rest. Jax grieves over this probably because he has something to do with this. Or that he gets angry and shoots someone.

Theory: Jax was always depressed and built up a world of illusions to hide from the truth of the world he’s in and the fact that nobody likes him.

In May 3 that’s when the talent show is happening at my school so I would be so happy to come home and watch the amazing Digital circus
