Roger is pretty much the only guy to know and get hyped about literally every announced character because he has played at least something involved with each one, and has also understood all the obscure references (like the japanese Mario rpg commercial music) and knew about unknown assists like sukapon. He's a madman

Roger accomplished so many things during Smash Ultimate. He watched and read Hunter X Hunter. He read The Promised Neverland. He started Bleach. He watched the first season of Demon Slayer. He started Solo Leveling. He watched all of Naruto. He witnessed the ending of the Attack on Titan manga. Now he’s doing all these collaborations with One Piece. He got verified on Twitter too! Of course, there were some not so good things that happened too, like the 2019 burnout, the death of his friend Etika, and the Solo Leveling copyright strike. But no matter what Roger was going through, good or bad, Smash Ultimate was there. If Melee was Roger’s middle school to high school days, Brawl was his high school to college days, and Smash 4 was his move from Chicago to LA, then I believe that Ultimate represents his growth as a professional content creator. I am so glad to have found Roger through one of his Smash reactions. Sakurai, thank you from the bottom of my heart for not only creating one of the best video games of all time, but for introducing me to my favorite content creator, RogersBase. □□

You know it's actually hilarious the DLC started with Piranha Plant. Whoever had the idea to set the bar that low was genius.

I've heard that joining of Sora is the promise between Mr. Sakurai and Mr. Iwata. Mr. Iwata is Former Nintendo president who unfotunately passed away. Mr. Sakurai never gave up and accomplished in the end. that promise gave him big power! Mr. Iwata must be happy for this big joining... I'm also happy, and be proud of being Japanese.

I'm not gonna lie. It feels like a tear jerker seeing the beginning of the Smash Ultimate reveal. We now have come to the end of it and God does it make me happy that they went all out for this game. #ThankyouSakurai

It’s easy to take what we have now for granted. Reliving the hype we had before it came out is really fun and a reminder of how incredible this game really is!

Soras announcement will go down as one of those "Where were you?" moments when it comes to gaming.

I love these genuine reactions, you could tell when he didn’t have any real knowledge about the game the character originated from but he was never upset and at least happy for other people. It makes me realize the tiny amount of good people in this community.

For now, he is one of the very few Smash fans that always welcomes in a good way the new characters introduced, he shows no disagreement and has always shared a good vibe to us. You are the best man, I've seen your reactions since 2018.
