I built a carp fishing lake in my back garden. Over the past few months i discovered a leak. We tried to repair it twice and failed. But today we see if our final try and fixing the leak once and for all has worked as well as repairing and improving other issues with my backyard pond.

Another example of when things go tits up you meet someone who not only fixes the problem but become a friend for life. Awesome work by the whole team Ben and keep the videos coming, they are entertaining and massively educational.

Kev is the man! most of the carp boys will not know how good he is with a lure rod in his hand as well💪. I think we need a collab where he takes you out lure fishing Ben.

Kevin needs a carp named after him. What a legend.

Hi Ben, loving the content, been following since the start. Just one note on Argulus. Utilising pipes as method of control can be effective at reducing their numbers but as I’m sure you would have already been aware that after drying and removing eggs and replacing the pipes, they need to be checked and removed again after 14 days to avoid harbouring and effectively “farming” the Argulus and making more of a problem than it originally was. The presence of Argulus alone shouldn’t cause concern as they’re a naturally occurring parasite of our fish in the UK. They tend to thrive with the warmer conditions of our summers and their numbers will subside come the autumn and winter. This comment is designed incase other fisheries are interested in taking this kind of management on. There’s a collection of fact sheets hosted online if people would like to find out more about this parasite. Keep up the great work!
