As for the video, the author is none other than the amazing Toni Morrison (2/18/31 to 8/5/2019).
Although she passed away in 2019, she left us a treasure trove of novels to inspire us for generations to come. Among her most famous were “The Bluest Eye”, “Sula”, “Song of Solomon”, “Tar Baby” and “Beloved”. You might remember that Oprah turned “Beloved” into a movie. It was a better book than a movie in my opinion, but regardless, Toni Morrison is a fantastic author that you should definitely check out, if you haven’t already. If you have, DO IT AGAIN! Her books are worth revisiting!
