I bet Ian could scrape the fleas of a cat with that digger. Time team hero’s!
  • I tell you, that scoop operator is really good at what he does. Just scraping ever so gently with that great big giant machine. It’s impressive

I'm a simple gal. I get a Time Team notification, I watch Time Team.

Kudos to the machine operator. He has shown total control over the delicate balance of discovery and destruction.
  • Just love the humour, Tony turns to Francis and says, here is Francis Pryor who failed his Latin O level.....a laugh out loud moment.
  • I love how excited the team gets over the finds. It's rather intoxicating at times.
  • I love the way these guys can joke around with each other, but everything is a teaching moment!!! Awesome guys...thanks for the fun, knowledge, and the joking around!!!
  • My favourite Time Team was when they dug at Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, in the Lea Valley. (I live about 8 miles from Cheshunt.) They found, amongst other things, the remains of a malting floor, where barley is prepared for making beer. Malting still takes place in the Lea Valley: it has a smell like scorched coffee or chocolate. Amazing to think of an industry that's been going on here for nearly 2000 years!
  • so, never mind the roundhouse, roman, stoneage, spring or whatever. i love the bantering between the team members. knowing very well, a lot is done for - show -. that is after all a great part WHY Time team was so successful for so many years...
  • I wonder if Phil ever taught, i think he would make an awesome professor to study under.
  • @JohnYoo39
"If I had access to the most powerful microscope in the world, I would be, even then, unable to locate my interest in that Iron Age roundhouse" LMAO
  • Francis has such good patience lol. I swear I could just see him reaching across and slapping that man for arguing with him over Stone Age vs Roman lmao. Love this team and miss them dearly.

I love thinking of different theories archaeologists generally don't think about. The broaches? Roman serial killer's trophy stash. It could happen!

I think Francis is one of the unspoken heroes of Time Team. He's absolutely brilliant.

I love all the different accents on this show, Phil’s is the best, Francis’ sounds like what everyone ‘Thinks’ a English accent sounds like!
