The BEST DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Accessories from SunnyLife

I ordered the phone holder that goes in front of the P3 - excellent - the magnetic mount - which does not have to be removed when using the phone holder - also excellent - and I already have the clip on cover, which can also be fitted when the magnetic mount and phone holder are in use. But I also bought the screen shade, which went straight in the bin. I found it a struggle to fit and it seemed to risk damage to the screen or gimbal while doing so. NOT recommended.But I do recommend watching your video!

Circled back on this as I go mad trying every accessory on the planet. I got pulled into this particular rabbit hole when I tried one of the DJI Masgnetic Quick mounts, paired with Ulanzi's heavy metal accessory cage for pocket 3. Add neck mounts (for biking) Selfie sticks, for waving the OP3 around like a whiffle ball bat, and so on. I have 5 or 6 new items arriving today. It all boils back to the attachment mechanism. I have tried quick mounts from Smallrig, DJI, PCTC, Telesin, Ulanzi and others. It is subtle but folding tabs and gaskets for snug, non "rocking/wobbling" fit is EVERYTHING. DJI provides a spongy adhesive mounted gasket... meh. Just use a hard but flexible, compressible rubber surface and strong, but easly to disengage spring loaded clasps and you win. I have several that are near perfection; others that are weebles. The wobble but they dont fall down.

Excellent vid buddy - nice and simple and to the point (although I think you may have missed a 'TWSS' moment at one point 😉🤣, but realise that probably not in keeping with your style which is ok by me - some of us stoop to that level 🤣🤣) Been using the pocket 3 for my vids since it came out and love it, but didn't realise some of these products were out there so will defo be buying the magnetic adaptor and stand. Again - great vid and great delivery - wish I could be as professional 🙂

I bought the magnetic adapter based on your previous review. I never thought of attaching it directly to a backpack strap, thanks for the tip! Next up will be a gimbal cover.

These are seriously nice accessories, unfortunately, we have very limited access to them in India. Thank you for the video, it infact helped me think whether I should get the original expansion adapter from DJI or go for the Sunny life... so for me, I will buy the Sunnylife. Cheers mate.

Loved your video. I think you convinced me in buying the DJI osmo pocket 3 because of the accessories. I was really concerned about protecting the camera while traveling. Please could you recommend a tripod to buy for the camera? I will be traveling solo and I would like to attach a good tripod to be able to video myself on the trips.

CAN the camera be switched off with the filter lens attached? or would it need to be removed?

Do you know if there is an accessory to attach a ulanzi light while also attached to the pocket 3? Thanks!

Have you ever accidentally turned on the OP3 with the gimball protector on? I'm wondering if anything can happen if you do it so.

Hi Philip, regarding the lens screen protector,does it interfere with image quality. I remember seeing someone say they wouldn't use the protector on the lens for that reason. I haven't put it on mine,but if you recommend it then i probably will.

Does the ND filters interfere when you shut the camera off. Do you have to take it off first and then shut it off ? or does it close up fine? Bc some other YouTuber closed the shut the camera off with the wide angle lense it came with and it got stuck
