  • Rather than just have one person off the street faking knowing a martial art I think they should just have all eight be doing that. The chaos of eight people all faking that they understand what's going on would be spectacular
  • Jiu Jistu guy: okay I'll demonstrate like I'm teaching a class Other contestants: it felt like he was teaching a class and was rehearsed
  • @captainhook4258
the "yelling does not strike me as very martial arts-y" is so funny bc i'm a second degree black belt in taekwondo and my instructor would tell us to yell as punctuation for every move to make it more strong, intimidating, and impressive. very useful in competitions lol
  • @MaddyBlu9724
I was so so confused when Keith poured his heart out and they were still like "nah keep going that bitch Jessica looked incompetent as hell."
  • @Falonvel
Jubilee really should do a session where all participants are imposters. It would be hilarious to see a bunch of people desperately trying to convince the others that they are actually martial arts experts and literally no one knows what they are doing.
  • @wongar1886
Keith inner monologue: Oh no! I'm the only one who didn't raise my hand! These guys are so good... they'll know I'm the imposter. Maybe I should try to shift blame? No! What would sensei say? They're all black belts, they're my superiors! I have to come clean... It's been a long year, but I've come too far to betray my honor.

In a bow, the longer and deeper it’s done the more serious and respectful it is, so the way that guy bowed was like 3 steps away from killing himself
  • @JordanAdika
i though we were going to cut out my moves now everybody knows about my training
  • @stephanieg7229
That twist me oddly uncomfortable lol. I think just the awkwardness did me in
  • @Phished123
The Jiu-Jitsu dude was at such a disadvantage in the demonstration round, like how was he supposed to demonstrate he was a blackbelt without having a fucking sparring session. showing off any particular hold or choke or move like that is gonna look suspect and you could easily fake rolling around for 30 seconds and it would look bad also.
  • @CatastrophicGay
Keith admitting he's the mole made me so uncomfortable I almost stopped watching
  • @LunarEleven
As someone who worked for a Taekwondo school I can say that the first guy's story about him acting up and getting enrolled in TKD by his mom represents like half the kids who are in it. It's basically a lot of lazy parents who don't want to discipline their kids and they heard from their other Mom friends how sending their child to TKD fixed them. To be fair it usually works out to the kid's benefit. Parents also love that they can bring their kid in every time they get in trouble to talk to the instructors because the kids actually respect their instructors and it works lol EDIT: Just rewatched the beginning and realized he said "a taekwondo gym".... It's a dojang 😂 he's confusing martial arts with Pokémon training..... Lolol
  • @itsAustinGreen
The Keith thing was so bizarre, especially bc he bowed to the blue hair girl so quickly - Why go on a game show based on a lying if you're worried they'd be mad at you for lying LMAO
  • @alyxwarner2984
As someone who did Aikido for a while, yelling is actually common in martial arts, and "killing" ish blows are pretty common in Kata s
  • @madipo3158
they need to do an episode of guess who’s the imposter British vs American with Jarvis and Jordan
  • @SuperSisby
I feel bad for the man who dropped out, but thinking about myself in the position of the participants, that was overstepping boundaries. They were just there to play a game. It's immensely awkward to be unexpectedly given a stranger's pain and tragedy, especially when they suddenly ask for your forgiveness. It's good for people to be emotionally honest, it's not good for people to force others into uncomfortable positions because you're being too honest. I've overshared and been told to roll back and I've told people to roll back their oversharing. It is not a fun experience to be put into.
  • @roguestowl2280
I haven’t finished the video yet, but my prediction is that the imposter is a brown belt, or other high rank, and that’s how they’re able to fake it …or not fake it.
  • @ger0gie
I felt so much second hand embarrassment when Keith said that he was the imposter among us
  • Honestly the most frustrating thing was them voting out jiu jitsu guy. Like he clearly knew what he was doing. In the demonstration, Keith and Jessica were the most sus. I was not feeling Jessica’s kata but when she later demonstrated her kicks while being cornered I started to believe her.
