One theory about Deadpool 3 positions the film's titular character as a villain thanks to a shift in the multiverse at the end of Loki season 2. Deadpool 3 is currently scheduled as the only Marvel movie to release in 2024 that belongs to the MCU. The film, directed by Shawn Levy, is set to be the third film in the Deadpool trilogy that will serve as an ending to his X-Men storyline and transition the Merc-with-the-Mouth into the Marvel Cinematic Universe's timeline of movies.
Given that Deadpool 3 will blend together two different Marvel franchises, it is being positioned as mightily important to the overarching story of the Multiverse Saga just as Loki season 2's Phase 5 story was. As of Loki season 2's ending, the status quo of the Marvel multiverse was irreversibly changed, teasing big ramifications for MCU stories going forward. Tying to one theory about Deadpool 3's story and main character, Loki season 2's ending could have set up Wade Wilson as a pseudo-MCU villain.

Well put together whoever made this. Deadpool as a franchise remains with its reputation intact. We all put our faith in Ryan Reynolds that he does not allow Disney to ruin this one. This is the chance to cement a quality trilogy. Jackmans wolverine remains intact. Don’t let this be the ultimate betrayal please.
