More like how to trick others to think they scammed you while they are actually grinding and leveling up for you before you regain the account after 8 yrs by contacting the support team

I almost got scammed but my own stupidity saved me XD So basically I was at my house and got a whisper like you did and he said he wanted to swap accounts (he was level 50 and I was level 40). I was 10 so my understanding of the world was still, "Everyone is so nice!" so I gave him what I thought was my password (turns out I changed it) and he gave me his "password" I failed to log in to his account so I logged into mine and he said I gave him the wrong password. Then my brain finally worked and I said that the pass he gave me was a fake too and then I left. I shoulda reported him XD

The fact they did that for you after all that time is just spot on great service. I do have one question, why did he scam your account? If you were just a poor 12-year-old kid, what was so special about the account of value?

I lost 2 accounts around 2010-2013 and I made a new one in Feb. 2014. now, I'm a big boy helping newbies in the game to get what they want and teach them how the scammers work. Btw, nice recovery Shiminuki.

I really don't understand why people steal accounts on AQW, there's no incentive to do so. You don't get any cool items, because those that will fall for a scam are usually really noob, and you can't even trade those items back to your main!

This actually happened to me as well back on 2011. I got my account back on 2017 thanks to player support as well. Its so great to hear that you also got your original account back. Congrats mate.

Man We really have the same story mate. Got scammed, Quitted the Game, Still played DF, I came back during the Dragon Lord Chaos Saga cuz I thought it was cool After 10 years I decided to retrieve back my account just yesterday to see what had it become. And Voila Level 35 with Lightcaster 😂 P.S ( My main now is Level 75, Still farming stuff though)

Cant believe that one of the greatest aqw youtuber's acc has ever been hacked. Still, rlly love to see you playing the game after such tragedy.

That'a actually pretty cool that you got your account back after 8 years. I once was playing a game calles 4Story where my account got stolen and then banned. I conntacted support numerous ammount of times but they never gave me my acc back. Im really glad to hear that AE do what they can in order to help players instrad of getting rid of the problem by saying "Sorry, nothing we can do."

HAd the same thing happen to me back in the day roughly the same time as yours. I sadly fell victim to the same type of scam and lost my account. Made a brand new character for a few months before realizing I could recover password using my saved email address. It was the best feeling getting that account back after so long.
