Great stuff. My old man was in the jungles of Burma during WW2 fighting the Japanese. He was an older Dad 52 when I was born and everyone at school thought that he was my Grandad. I’m tell you though no one’s Dad was tougher than mine or had his stories. He was a boxer before during and after the war and also played football at a decent level.

At last a Billy interview where he’s allowed to say things without the official line ‘I can’t discuss that!’ Brilliant bloke.

  • @LouNYF
Great interview, thanks for sharing. Billy is a true gent; almost a father figure for so many in the UK.
  • @MrVinniboy
I always love listening to Billy, stories are so great and somrtimes humorous, I remember a Podcast where "Billy" said he was asked about how many people he had "killed", his answer was, it's about how many people he had saved, as in Hostage rescues or taking out Terrorist units before they could act,

Ex cop with 30 years street service here. On the mention of the carrying of knives jail sentence. Years ago it was brought out that if you were found carrying a knife you got an instant 5 years. For the rest of my service, NON of those I caught carrying a knife was sentenced to 5 years. If they got jail it was because of their Criminal history. I’ve spoke to some of my colleagues as well and none of us recall anyone getting 5 years. Also there was going to be a ‘marker’ on your record that you were now classed as a ‘Coward’ for carrying a knife. That never happened either. Billy speaks the truth here and his ideas would be perfect but there are far too many do gooders who get offended by such suggestions… FFS some people think jails should be disbanded…

This guy needs to be one of the people running the country, it would almost change overnight for the better!!!
  • @markrunnalls7215

  • Man Billy is a LEGEND!!! Great follow up video interview. We need, Ant Middleton, Ollie Ollerton and Jason "Foxy" Carl Fox. I can watch anc listen to these PROPER MEN all day long. More of these please. Much love Bournemouth UK 🇬🇧 🩵
  • Guys like Billy would have been my ideal role model growing up in the times when I needed it. I'm almost 47 now, and I've done, what I've done,it's just when your hear and k now what you know now you look back and think. Regret is a horrible thing, and some people live with it more than others, and find it harder to shake off ,more than others.
  • @TO9729

I can relate to SGM Billingham’s upbringing. It’s a pity that we allow things to divide us as a human race, than what we have more in common. A kid in the US can understand a kid in the UK that ate “sugar toast” as a meal!👍🏾
