"You calling me a mortal, Philza?” “That depends.” Philza smiled gently. “Do you still think it’s an insult?”

"Then they stepped back, surveying their work. Tommy was polished. Tommy was spotless. Tommy was dead."
  • @spenobii351
"Death. Such a small word for such a big thing."
  • “My life was fulfilled the day I met you and Tommy,” Techno said. “Everything that came after was an epilogue I frankly didn’t deserve. After we get him back, someday—not someday soon, I hope, but someday, I want to get to follow you to wherever finished stories go.” This will forever be my favorite part

"when we get home, we'll play it for you as many times as you want tommy. anything you want, just keep your eyes open." this quote hits so much harder when you see them playing the lullaby at his grave

“Niki hoped, at the very least, that they would plant the prettiest flowers over her grave.” Passerine, Chapter 4

"Techno tied his hair back in a simple knot; there would be no intericate braids for a while, no flowers heavy with meaning"

I think the saddest part of Passerine was of the insignificance of it all. For example, Niki and Tubbo were and are such amazing people, but it really shows how fleeting life is and how true talent isn't appreciated. Tubbo and Tommy never got to meet, and Niki died an undeserving death. If you think about it, Sapnap wasn't the enemy, and Dream wasn't either. The fact that they were put at the end really hammers home that point. Such a beautiful story and such a beautiful animation.

In the fanfic Niki's line killed me Niki hoped, at the very least, that they would plant the prettiest flowers over her grave.

“Tommy,” Wilbur whispered into Tommy’s hair, “you were six.” This is what got me
  • @heraax.
"Now Wilbur held his brother-a baby no longer, but still so, so small-to his chest as they walked through the quiet, empty camp. Wilbur spoke the words he'd first spoken to his brother all those years before, over an over, like an enchantment or a prayer to bring him back to life once more. 'I will love you forever, I will love you forever, I will love you forever." But this time, Tommy did not wake up." ITS BEEN SO LONG BUT THIS STILL HITSSSSSS :((

Goodbye, Technoblade. Go to that field of flowers, where all finished stories go. Yours will never be forgotten.
  • “I don’t kick and scream ,” Tommy huffed, “I let out a manly whine .”
  • @toonmatt9254
Philza: “wow this is amazing!” Tommy: “why...why am I dead?”
  • Technoblade never dies, the voices urged, promised, cursed. “I guess we’ll have to see,” Technoblade replied, and began to laugh.
  • I’m not trying to plague every video with sadness from the recent news, but I had to come and admire the beauty of this animatic to honor both sadist’s skill and techno’s whole existence.
  • @Baboobraz
"'Tommy,' Wilbur whispered into Tommy’s hair, 'you were six.'" incessant crying

"His Tommy, lying so still in his brother's arms. His Tommy, who braided his hair with sweet-smelling flowers. His Tommy, who was quick to anger but quicker to laugh. His Tommy." - Chapter 5
  • i’m not a sentimental man, but something keeps bringing me back here. i remember when this first came out, i remember the emotions it evoked. but the line between emotions from fiction and emotions of reality is a line better not crossed. it should be apparent to us all now that the man we see here and the man that he was created via are not the same. one is a monster, and the other is… what? nothing, now? a memory? i don’t know. I don’t have to know. i’m waxing poetic in a youtube comment section of a dead fandom.
