Welcome to “Maya”

It's Cities: Skylines series, Mostly based on Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.
Some mixed with my own thoughts and there may be some elements that are extracted from other Japanese cities to be applied in this city as well.

I would like to thank everyone who has been following and continuing support for the project.
See you next time!

This is the best Cities: Skylines city ever!
  • @nillas1276
The most detailed city anyone has ever built probably. The sheer scale is awe inspiring. Cant wait to see what you come up with next
  • @benilt1
Looks so realistic that many might have mistaken this for a drone shot
  • @rorymacve
When I used to play Sim City 3000 back in around 2001, this is the kind of city I always wanted to create! Amazing work, a true testament to how far city building simulators have come! :D
  • Everytime i see a video like this i start a new city. Then i realize even after 1000+ hours playing this game... ill never be able to produce something like this. Absolutely amazing.

If there is a city to answer the question "How good is modded Cities Skylines?" Maya is the ultimate example of what can be done. Serious props dude for this build, it is insane to say the least. Outstanding work.
  • You've nailed the look of a Japanese city. I'm not familiar with Cities Skylines but it is astonishing that such a convincing model is possible. I'm rarely stopped in my tracks from a video game, but this is pretty incredible. It's not far off video of a real city. It's a shame this isn't in a museum - this is an immense work of art. Bravo!
  • 本当に神戸そっくり。北区民ならわかる国道428から平野の交差点あたりの再現もすごい。 須磨のあたりとかポートアイランドもそっくりだし、ここまで再現できてるの凄すぎる。
  • @IsaMapc
Comparing to this my city in Skylines looks like a video game.

i think the ONE THING thats missing, is dirt, buildings get discoloured, stained etc, if we could find a way to implement that, itd just tie the whole thing together. Besides that, this is a masterpiece

The effort on creating ideas, balancing infrastructure, terraforming, detailing, PLUS RECORDING AND EDITING = Jaw-dropping content As part of the audiences, I'm genuinly inlove with the city

    今までそれなりに多くの日本を模したcitiesを見てきましたが、これが一番リアルです!! とにかく凄いとしか言葉が出てきませんね
  • @darklightning
The city, the soundtrack, the cinematics, the chosen graphics settings, everything is unparalleled in this video. Hats off for this great work!

This city exemplifies what a grandmaster level build should be. Your build videos had a reasonable speed. You listed every single mod and asset you used as you used them. You had complete collections of mods and assets at the end, plus an available savegame. And that's not even counting the quality and detail of the build itself. I learned a great deal watching Maya come together, and I bow to your skill at creating such a detailed, real-looking virtual Kobe. Fantastic job. I could never equal this level of skill. Neither can most anyone else.

I’ve been watching this series for years now! You put in so much detail and I’m sad it’s coming to an end. I can’t wait to see more from you in Greenhope and beyond!
  • @Southpaw128
Dude absolutely amazing and I love the inspiration you pulled from Tokyo from the Zakkyo buildings and the ginza inspired bar strip under the elevated train tracks, to the low-rise high density residential areas and their windy streets. I'm in awe
  • @R_02alcb
The thing is that everything was so random that it actually looks like a real life city
  • As someone who lives less than an hour from the centre of Kobe, I think my favourite parts are the mountainside transitions: the use of the concrete retaining walls that are so quintessentially Japanese is very well done. Of course all the Kobe buildings etc., Amagasaki interchange, and what not are fantastic and scream "this is Kansai", but I think its the road edges around the hills that really tell me "this, THIS, is Japan".
  • @Markus-xm4zv
Amazing. Grown up with sim city on NES, to Simcity2000 and so on... unbelievable how far Video games have gone. The name Maya also fits perfectly..Maya=Illusion. This city really gives you the illusion of being a real city
  • Great work, haven’t had anyone to binge CS from since fluxtrance. Great work again
