  • Only 3 weeks later and this video is already outdated lol, PIDGEOT CAME BACK
  • @jwanie366
Journeys would’ve been the perfect time to bring back Primeape and Pidgeot, given that we saw Butterfree and Lapras again

Everyday, I think the old misconception that "Ash releases all of his good Pokemon" holds less and less weight in my mind. Out of the 55 Pokemon Ash has actively caught (84 counting his other 29 Tauros). Ash has released 10 of them and with Charizard permanantly leaving the valley, only has 9 that are still released and there's a whole 5 gen gap between his third release of Lapras and his fourth of Goodra. Even then, I would only consider 7/10 of them to be strong or have great potential.
  • In the case of Goodra and Naganadel, while they may be released, I like to think Ash still keeps their pokeballs in case they ever want to travel with him again. Especially since Naganadel can just pop in for a visit whenever it pleases.

This show broke my heart way too many times by making us get attached to ash’s Pokémon just for them to ditch them behind smh

When Primate gained an evolution in Gen IX, I though Ash's primate would show up again to evolve into Anihilampe. And then a few months later Pokemon announced Ash's retirement...

You forgot to mention that Naganadel won against Kukui’s Lucario before losing to Tapu Koko, ultimately making its return better than Goodra’s.
  • Well, about Pidgeot.... Yeah, maybe you should have waited a few weeks until Ash truly ended his run cause Pidgeot actually rejoined Ash's team at the very last episode.😅
  • It is a bummer that we will likely never see Primape or Pidgeot again. Unless they pull something off in these next 3 episodes, they will basically be snapped away.

I really wish Ash had an episode or at least half an episode with Butterfree instead of a 5 second scene, but it was still really heartwarming to see it again.
  • Primeape, Squirtle, Beedrill, and Ambipom weren’t released. They were given away similar to how Dawn got Togekiss because the owner gave Togekiss to her.

NGL, I actually cried when Ash let Greninja go, it was a really good episode even after watching the whole series
  • I feel like even though we haven't seen it on screen Ash has probably visited Pidgeot many many times. that place he left it at isn't all that far from Pallet Town.
  • To this day, I still wonder if Pink Butterfree is from Pink Island in the Orange Island Also, Larvitar dex entry says it's basically abandoned by its parent, so I wonder if it roams solo in Mt. Silver as a Tyranitar Too bad didn't see Ambipom in the SM ping pong episode since even Ash admitted it sounded familiar

What if in the second to last or even the last episode itself Ash bumps into an Annihilape and just when it is about to engage in a fight it realizes that the Pokemon trainer it is facing is his long lost friend Ash and go hug him or something, only to Ash's confusion later be explained that during the time it was training, it eventually evolved. This would be a nice callback to early Pokemon anime and be a kind of bridge in the anime between to introduce Paldea related things.
  • Greninja getting released was in my opinion a massive mistake. The vines weren't even his responsibility, they were Zygarde's. It's the order Pokemon, it's actually responsible for the vines, it should b clearing them out
  • @Zephyr445
primeape isn't gone. in the pokemon s16 intros, if you pause when you see ash's pokemon in oak's ranch, you can see primeape next to glalie. maybe primeape was just never used... 🤔
  • @Robin280497
In Japanese, Ash dubs the Spirit Bomb Aura Sphere simply as G-Max Aura Sphere. I guess that's as official as it can get?
  • @volcanicz6739
Iirc Goodra and Greninja aren't technically released, in they first episode of Sun and Moon, ash gave oak 5 pokeballs, which was most likely the Kalos Team pokeballs.
