🦌🦌🎄🦌🦌 People look at veganism and vegetarianism as better than. It requires restraint and dedication. So when you show up, they feel convicted. It makes them feel like they should do better. It's like the crab in the barrel. If they were truly happy with their own choices, they wouldn't be bothered by yours. 👍🌞👍

This is a very accurate description of my husband and I’s journey being vegetarian. I immediately noticed that many of our family and friends took offense to our lifestyle choice to become healthier. After 11 years, I am no longer interested in discussing my health journey with anyone who is not interested in hearing about it. I’ve learned to let people love their misery.
