Cristian isn't dumb. He knows cunnilingus is an essential part of any job interview.

Hes actively working against Alicent by conspiring with Aemond about going ape/taking things up a notch while Alicent wants restraint.

We only acknowledging this dude as "Sir Crispy Cream," by edict from his grace, the King Consort, Daemon Targaryen.

I really hate Criston. I loathe him so much, I had to look when he bites the dust. I love this analysis of him. You're right, he's spurned, hypocritical and can't take accountability.

Ommgggg, two videos in less than 24 hours?! Im in heaven ❤❤❤

The man is vile through and through no questions about it. Strong emotions aside, let’s not forget that Christian Cole is a battle hardened veteran and a proven field commander: underestimate him at your own perils.

I never drew parallels between Ser Crispin Simpin Cole and Littlefinger, but now that you say it, it indeed is a spot-on analysis 💯. “If it’s up to him, Rhaenyra will never touch that thing she scorned him for, the iron thrown”. That’s deep, it’s the root cause and his motive for everything.

He did pretty darn good for son of a steward! Lord commander of KG, made a king becoming Kingmaker, and also bedded not one, but TWO queens!

Criston has to learn, pretty privilege doesn't last war.
  • I think what also fuels Cripys fire is that Rhaenyra never pays him any attention or even mentions him when we get to the time jump and I know he’s seething 😭

I also believe Ser Otto Hightower knows Alicent is getting down with Crispin. The way you could see the wheels turning in his head when they both walked into the Green Council, chile scandalous 👀☕️

Cristion needs to grow up. He annoys me so much. It could be because he reminds me of people in real life. So glad I'm gay. 😂😂😂

It's crazy because a man can reject a lover without any regard for their feelings. But, if you reject him it's war🙄

I think it's a really good comparison (Cole and Littlefinger), but I wouldn't put Cole down as a chessmaster. He doesn't really scheme. Instead, I see him as a dark interpretation of the White Knight archetype. I also think you're misreading his sense of honor and duty (at least in the early years). Littlefinger frames his duel for Catelyn's hand as a loss of innocence; before the contest, he saw himself as the plucky, booksmart, romantic hero. He believed that with intelligence, grit, and the power of love, he would defeat the brutish bully Brandon Stark and win the hand of the fair maiden--just like the heroes in the songs and fairytales. He saw his fight as a "David vs Goliath" story. Of course, reality intervened and he was nearly killed. Now, he has become a dark interpretation of that David archetype. He does use his grit and intelligence to bring powerful lords to their knees, but he does so in pursuit of his own power and in a twisted scheme of revenge agaisnt the people who wronged him. I think Cole is the same, except for the Lancelot archetype intead of the David. In the first half of season 1, he fully believes and lives by the fairytale White Knight. His relationship with Rhaenyra mirrors this kind of story, right down to the messy mixture of knightly devotion and romantic desire that he feels towards his queen. But when reality crashes in and Rhaenyra reveals that she won't (and can't) play along with the fairytale, his sense of honor, his heartbreak, and his jealousy all wrap up together in a nasty tangle of emotions. This is the same kind of loss of innocence that Littlefinger experiences, and it corrupts Cole in the same way it corrupted Petyr. In episode 1.5 he's not scheming, he's spiralling. In the second half of the season, we see him embodying the dark interpretation of his original fairytale archetype. Rather than being motivated by devotion and honor, he's motivated by vengeance and spite. His romantic connection to Alicent mirrors his original attraction to Rhaenyra (and Lancelot's attraction to Guenivere), but now it's filtered through his jealousy and hatred towards Rhaenyra. His "love" towards Alicent is largely because she is the counterpoint to Rhaenyra--in his mind, the virtuous and just lady of the realm fighting against the spider. It's important to remember that Cole sees himself as the hero. He sees Alicent as a victim and Rhaenyra as the web-weaver. In his mind, he's still the fairytale white knight fighting against the black queen, in the same way that Littlefinger still sees himself as David facing off against the Goliaths of Stark, Lannister, Baratheon, and Tyrell. But Cole, like Lancelot, is not a schemer. Littlefinger is the catspaw dagger: an unassuming, precise weapon that cuts deep and clean. Cole a is a blunt instrument just like the flailed mace he wields; difficult to control, but capable of great destruction in the right hands.
  • Love the comparison to Little Finger. But Baelish knew how to plot and scheme. I'm not sure Crispy has the brains but I do see him 'removing' Lord HighTower for Alicent
  • @KPbouj
I really want for Alicent to have a “shame” 🛎️ moment 😂because how you was talking about the Queen but you out here with her baby daddy!
  • Only weak men can't handle rejection. Being a great man is to be able to handle rejection after rejection and continue moving forward using those rejections as knowledge to not make the same mistakes
