To me this will always be the true Xbox 360 dashboard
-
I would pay to have the blades and sounds on my Series X. This was and always will be the best generation of gaming. Microsoft bring the blades back!!
-
I love how, even after eight years and four redesigns, Xbox 360 notifications never really changed.
-
The 360 lacked personality after they introduced the Avatars and new dashboards. One of my gaming goals is to own a 360 with this dash still on it and play pre-2008 releases on it

R.I.P. Xbox 360 2005-2016
-
I got my 360 late so I didn't have the blades for long, but I will always cherish it for the short time I did have it.
-
Ahh, the 2005-2008 days, I miss those days when my bro had a Xbox 360 back in Christmas 2005.
-
It all started with blades, for the Xbox 360, everyone probably had a failed xenon, but Halo 3, COD 4, Crackdown, Gears of war, all fun online
-
Bring us back this dashboard !!! It was so simple looked more modern than every other dashboard we had after... This dashboard makes you want to play and you feel invited to awesomeness... Now you just launch your games and the other too many apps makes the experience boring
-
Damn, I remember the good old days I had with the old dashboard. I got my first Xbox in 2007 which originally used to be my dad's Xbox but managed to own it after a year or 2 of owning it. I still remember playing halo 3 and crackdown for the first time. I wish we had the blades dashboard back.

i love the blades dashboard, to me it looks cool and organized. wish we could get it back!
-
This was IMO one of the best UI in a console ever
-
Owners, even with online presence via Live, are absolutely living in this moment up to Tuesday, 18 November 2008. That's two years, eleven months, three weeks and six days, too damn short for the dashboard GOAT.
-
The media center notification sound is also the vista/7 ding sound, which added even more nostalgia to this
-
god i yearn for this look and feel of a console menu. never started with this dashboard (started with the post NXE Kinect dash) but i definitely see the appeal of it. it has a look, feel, and overall charm that has been lost by the minimalism of today (also adware).
-
WHAT?! Audiobooks?! Unless it's still there on the present day 360 dashboard, that's crazy that the Blades had audiobook support
-
Man online gaming was so much fun back then. I remember when I was playing phantasy star universe online and my console got the RED RING of death.
-
Gen Z has no idea there used to be user interfaces that weren't polluted with ads.
-
I'd do anything to get this dashboard back.
-
I remember when i first got this back then, as a kid i thought it look3d so futuristic with games like Halo 3, Crackdown and Gears of War it felt like it too
