Welcome back to another episode of #GetSome

This week i'm giving the great Lavell Crawford his flowers. In the last 10 years we've probably done close to 200 shows with each other. I do know this about Lavell, you can put him anywhere in the lineup and he's guaranteed to crush! And if your comic and your on the same show as Lavell, my advice is don't watch him. Seeing as this past weekend was Memorial Day I share a stories from my enlistment from bootcamp to Presidential Honor Guard! Hope you guys enjoyed this episode! See yall next week!

You can take the Man out of the Military, but you can’t take the Military out of the Man. Active duty Air Force 1984-1992 here. Best time of my life!
  • US Army Honor Guard, The Old Guard 1991 to 1995. I remember the Dome, The Crazy Horse and Club 55. But today, if I saw Gary…I wouldn’t say a word cause I went from that 34 inch waist to Lavell Crawford territory! 😂

I loved being in the military and retired, now I work for it as a civilian. That's how much I love what I do 😊, great memories. GREAT stories, Gary, you should share more stories about your time in!

Joining the military was "freedom." LOL. IYKYK. I remember how it was over at Bolling...where I did Airman Leadership School...Gary ain't lyin' folks. (Not that he ever does). I dig hearing these military stories, by the way. I think veterans and pure civilians alike enjoy this stuff, too. Glad you're starting to blow up out there, in a good way.

Gary, as a veteran I enjoy the stories. We need barracks parties stories next 😂

I love your DC stories. Born and raised, that’s my city. ❤
  • Thank you for sharing your stories/memories. I really enjoyed them!
  • The fact that Gary felt his first taste of freedom in the navy speaks to how bad his childhood was. I felt like I was in JAIL for most of my 4 year enlistment.
  • Bruh you definitely need to get more comfortable with reaching out. You will 100% fail at everything you don't try. Your game is strong man, get dat ish bruh.
  • What a sad thing to happen. Dealing with someone dying at that age is really hard. My Dad passed away when I was in junior high. He was retired Air Force Master Sergeant. I can’t remember how to abbreviate his rank. At the age it seems not real. I made up stories in my mind that he wasn’t really dead. He was a spy. Even though he died from cancer. You just don’t want to believe it is really happening.
