First day in the high mountains and everyone knew Pogacar was going to attack. The question was, who could answer? Considering Vingegaard was injuries leading up to the Tour, we all agree that being down only 50 seconds is a victory of sorts. Remco also proves that he’s a potential podium candidate.

It's clear from stage 4 that the biggest problem Jonas Vingegaard faces is Visma not having Sepp Kuss and Wout van Aert being far from 100 percent. Meanwhile, UAE has so much firepower they didn't even bring Brandon McNulty. And the whole team, Pogacar included, finally seems to be working together and all in to win. Visma needs to step up and support Jonas better or they will have trouble finishing on the podium. You heard it here first.

The Netflix documentary peaked my interest in cycling and brought me here

Evenepoel is the revelation for me so far. Unexpected but great

Funny I watched unchained last year and fell in love with the sport. I’m in deep now. Two seasons in and never want to look back.

If the Tour had this many advertisements we would still be watching stage 1.

They beat the record time from lautaret to galibier by 2 and a half minutes. The fact that jonas was only 5 sec behind on the top means, we have a race. Especially in week 3.💥

Watching big names getting dropped is always amazing! 15 seconds after and people were still trying to beat the mountain!

I really enjoyed the show today! Thank you. 😊

Great show guys! I can listen to you guys talk cycling all day every day! Lance (the G.O A.T) and Cappy (one of the best classic riders of our generation) ❤ 🚴‍♂️

Thank you for reminding folks like me just how damn dangerous that descent was. Watching on tv, absorbed in the growing time gap, it just didn’t occur to me that there was no guard rail and that, especially up high, a guy who goes off that road is going to plummet a very, very long way. I ride, I’ve done scary, fast sketchy descents, but the sudden awareness of their mortal danger thanks to your commentary is something I’ll keep with me the rest of the race, and that’s the kind of former pro insight that’ll keep me coming back to this pod.

It is like Lance sometimes forget he is Lance F… Armstrong. The guy who beat cancer came back and won the Tour de France 7 times. The greatest bike rider to ever live. Just to say it makes sense that he is following on IG, like I think 99% of the riders in the Tour de France are doing

I watch the race and then l go here to understand it. I look forward to it every July! Just like l used to look forward to watching you guys race.

I remember the Tour TV coverage being once a week on Saturdays just a few minutes of highlights.
  • @perseverance86
Had there not been so much wind on the climb Pogi would have attacked much sooner and you would have seen a much bigger gap by the summit. Jonas was at his limit and he was lucky the climb ended when it did.

UAE team is learning a lot. They applied the same tactics pressuring Vingegaard, mirroring last years' moves of Visma. Vingegaard is in a worse position strategically & tactically. Guess we can potentially see 3 grand tour wins by Pogi & UAE this year. This is historical.
