Coverage from all five events at the 2022 Arnold Strongman Classic, as re-broadcast on the CBS Sports Spectacular. The competition took place March 4th and 5th in Columbus, Ohio, and featured 10 elite international Strongman athletes, including Martins Licis (USA), Rob Kearney (USA), Oleksii Novikov (Ukraine), and the Stoltman brothers (Scotland). For the first time in a decade, no past Arnold champions were part of the field, meaning a first-time champ was guaranteed to be crowned.

The CBS re-broadcast includes extended highlights from each challenge over the two days of competition: the Double T Squat, Monster Dumbbell Press, Austrian Oak, Timber Carry, and Stone to Shoulder.

  • @manub8786
Once again i want to thank you wholeheartedly that you provide all the competitions for free on here. Keep it up!
  • Shame to see that Caron got injured, guy is one of the most consistently well performing strongman in history.
  • Novikov’s technique on the dumbbell press is just spectacular. The way he almost acts like a spring in his leg to cushion the weight at the top. I think if all the competitors applied this technique then we would get some crazy results in this event.
  • One thing I noticed while watching this back was look how happy Rob Kearney is at 26:43 when Luke hits the winning lift for the log. They're competitors in this competition and Rob was right up the top of the table, and he was still genuinely thrilled for Luke to make that winning lift. The comradery and sportsmanship in Strongman is second to none, as well as Rob just being such a standup guy.

JF looked like he had more than 1000lbs in the Squat! Novikov was unreal in the dumbbell, I’d say it was historic Luke looked incredible in the log, just perfect technique Maxime on fire on the frame! And the champ, The Dragon, Martins finishing on a high note, winning the last event as usual, his 3rd time in a row winning on stones and beating Tom in all of them
  • Wow finally the competition we all wanted! The weights are heavy af, and the line up is all rockstars. WSM has it's place, but it's all too light for my taste. Max squat and max log and I was already sold. Fantastic showing for a lot of the guys too. Stoltman's log, JF on the squat, and Licis on the stones were all pretty awesome to see. Novikov put on a hell of a show as well, as expected.

I think its nothing but logical that the Arnolds Strongman Classic is slowly becoming the main competition in strongman. Always heavy Events that really seperate the competitors, big prize money and a way better broadcast than wsm
  • Novikov lifted that dumbbell like it was full of air. Guy straight up paused for a drink.
  • What a pleasure listening to Big Loz give commentary, absolute legend. P.s. Thanks for posting this Rogue, much appreciated.
  • Rogue you're the blessing in the strongman industry rn. While WSM and WUS deal with payouts and match fixing, you guys continue to deliver an amazing experience for both viewers and competitors. Can't wait to buy more products and eventually build a home gym with rogue equipment. Love y'all !!
  • The absolute best pure strength event I've ever had the pleasure to watch, absolutely incredible, thank you Arnold and all the people who made this happen.
  • Rogue does such a good job of growing the sport and they keep it free for the fans
  • @jsans2520
Thank you guys so much for still putting this content out on YouTube, this does more for the sport than one might realize.
  • Watching a competition like this gives you a different perspective in life, always do the outmost best in life no matter how hard it gets.
  • My favorite back squat for max weight was 1981 WSM. Bill Kazmaier defeated Dave waddington with a squat nearly 1,000 lb raw. That is still one of the most impressive feats of leg strength ever done. I honestly don't know how many people in the world today could put 970 lb on a squat rack and come up with it with no suit and next to no wraps.
  • 42:44 you just gotta love Romark man. Seems to be more happy than Martins himself and comes flying in
  • Insane competition, incredible video production - congrats to all the competitors and big thanks to Rogue.
  • These highlights not showing all of Carons squats is ridiculous.
