Lyrics:
I used to float, now I just fall down
I used to know, but I'm not sure now
What I was made for
What was I made for?
Takin' a drive, I was an ideal
Looked so alive, turns out I'm not real
Just somethin' you paid for
What was I made for?
'Cause I, I
I don't know how to feel
But I wanna try
I don't know how to feel
But someday, I might
Someday, I might
Mm, mm, ah
Mm, mm, mm
When did it end? All the enjoyment
I'm sad again, don't tell my boyfriend
It's not what he's made for
What was I made for?
'Cause I, 'cause I
I don't know how to feel
But I wanna try
I don't know how to feel
But someday, I might
Someday, I might
Think I forgot how to be happy
Somethin' I'm not, but somethin' I can be
Somethin' I wait for
Somethin' I'm made for
Somethin' I'm made for

The amount of emotion she puts into that singing is absurdly impressive.
-
the orchestra reveal was just brilliant. honestly a beautiful performance
-
I'm a 54 year old male who wouldn't call himself a fan of contemporary music, but watching this haunting Oscar performance completely overwhelmed me accompanied by tears running down my face. One of the most beautifully composed and written pieces I've ever heard in a very, very long time leaving an indelible mark. Was happy for their well-deserved win. They've gained a new fan. What talent!

Finneas is that supportive sibling I wanted. What a great combo. I love how he looks at her.
-
billie’s tone is something that is so unique. every time i hear her sing, it’s immediate goosebumps.
-
Phineas clapping so proudly even though he just performed next to her and the audience is giving both of them a standing ovation, and he co-created the song, that makes me emotional. He's so humble
-
I love how her brother is always there to protect her and make great music. That's a bond that everyone should have with their siblings
-
This song is the best example of sometimes less is more. Simplicity is better than extravagance. Judging by the comments, this song had made a positive impact in so many lives already.
-
Can we all agree Finneas is the best big brother? Bro takes little to no credit and always lets his little sis shine.
-
This young lady has 2 Oscars and 9 Grammys. She just turned 22 years old. Legit icon status already.
-
She deserves every single reward she's ever received. She's such a beautiful old soul. Her and her brother.
-
I love how Finneas brotherly support-aura is always with her on stage. It's so calming to me.
-
Holy fuck. She can sing so well it touches my soul
-
Has to be one of the greatest song performances at an Academy Awards, a song thats so gentle, emotional and heartwarming
-
Bro how the fuck does she not cry while singing this song? This song is TRAGICALLY BEAUTIFUL
-
I'm running out of "wows" for this amazing duo. It's such a partnership although Finneas applauds Bilie and she gets all the glory. Two geniuses working in highest collaboration. Finneas deserves an Oscar and a Grammy too.
-
"Forgot how to be happy" its the most powerful line on this song. Moves a lot
-
When she says, “Whoa!!” upon seeing everyone standing, cheering, and clapping, that was the best reaction. This song is beautiful, and fits the movie perfectly. They deserved the Oscar. Incredible performance!!!
-
This song really moves me. I was a happy child, but after my teens and coming of age I just rarely felt happy. Always felt lacking, and not good enough. Never did find my place in the world or with anyone special. Now that I’m old, I’m finally free of all that striving, and now I’m happier. Strange how that could be. I don’t suppose that’s uncommon though and many people feel exactly as I have.

3:06 that's the kind of look a girl gives his dad, his brother is the world to her, you can see that.
