You're hilarious! My first time watching your channel. I randomly clicked on your video, ended up watching the entire thing.

A hint I heard from elsewhere is to ignore the belt loops and make sure to put the belt at your waistline.

I love how you just wing it in your videos. You know, how real women do in real life? It's quite refreshing to see on YouTube šŸ˜Š
  • I'm a french woman and I tend to think that what american people calls "French style" as "parisian style". Anyway, I love the video!

Ok you had me when you said thrift. I have been watching videos about styling. I thrift all my clothes. You would not believe it but this 64 year old woman gets so many compliments. I love your style and videos.

I bought some men's vintage silk ties in different patterns and wear them as a belt with dresses, tunics or with pants. Got the idea from debonair Fred Astaire.

I'm European too and I have recycled an old guitar belt of my husband and turned it into an elegant belt without sewing or anything. I put it on my black midi dress and everyone keeps on complementing me. My point is that there's no need to buy fancy expensive belts. As long as they are real leather you're good to go

ā€œChasing what you love, IS it!ā€ Not chasing trends or whatā€™s in style! Thank you!
  • Oh my word...I just love your videos. I'm not French. I'm not American. I'm South African and your natural way of presenting is just so refreshing. Love it! ā¤

"If you like it, you should put a belt on it" ROFLMAO Hilarious and actually great advice!!

Hi šŸ‘‹šŸ¼ Iā€™m an Aussie married for 35 years to a Frenchmanā€¦ your gorgeous neutral linen blouse with the black bra underneath would look really chic with black linen shorts the brown or black belt & a cute black waistcoat, which would highlight the gorgeous sleeve detail & a black sandalā€¦ in my experience the black bra appearing under the light shirt needs to look deliberate not a this is the only bra I could find momentā€¦ putting black bottoms gives the black bra a reason for being there! Love your looks btw! šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸ’ƒšŸ»šŸØšŸ¦˜šŸ¦˜šŸ¦˜šŸØšŸ«¶šŸ½

The moment you say an item has pockets, it's a winner šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰

I absolutely love belting things. I am 6 feet tall and if I donā€™t have a waist I look like a fridge šŸ¤£ I am learning so much from your videos, and I enjoy having access to someone with a dang personality. You crack me up and you feel like an old friend, which is probably weird to say but I love my quirky girlfriends, theyā€™re my people! The information you are giving makes SOOO much more sense than other stylists I have tried to learn from. Thank you!

The cream blouse is Broderie Anglaise, and it's gorgeous šŸ˜
  • Who needs a red belt when you have that beautiful red scarf?! The bow was a plus!

I think you should do an entire episode on bralettes and how to show them tastefully. As a person who NEVER shows their bras due to modesty, this is a new concept that I would love to explore. We travel to Europe a lot and Iā€™d really like to blend-in.
